NEOG Environmental – Energy restores value to wells others have left behind. Working alongside the Railroad Commission of Texas, we bring orphaned wells under responsible operation and give each one a constructive future: properly plugged to generate carbon credits, or reworked and returned to production.
Every well we take on is one less liability for the state, and one more asset working for Texas, its landowners and its communities.
We filter volume rather than chase it. Candidate wells are screened against decades of correlated geological data, verified in the field and tested for mechanical integrity before any work begins.
Approved work is then batched by geography, so crews, vendors and equipment stay concentrated, efficient and moving.
Wells that have reached the end of their productive life are sealed to permanent standards, isolating aquifers and closing methane pathways, and generating verified carbon credits.
Wells that were abandoned rather than depleted are reworked with modern completion techniques and returned to low-cost production. Either way, the well leaves the orphaned list for good.
Orphaned wells are a growing burden on the state and a lasting risk to land and water. NEOG combines environmental remediation with energy revenue in one disciplined field operation, turning yesterday's liabilities into tomorrow's assets.
NEOG works with the Railroad Commission of Texas to take responsibility for screened orphaned wells, reducing the state's inventory while putting every well on a clear path forward. We begin in a focused corridor of the Eagle Ford Shale, prove our execution, then expand with the same proven playbook.
Disciplined evaluation, concentrated execution and repeatable workflows. Standardized work scopes, inspection-driven quality control and compliance-first documentation, with bonding, insurance and legal diligence built into every well we take on.
Four decades of oil and gas field experience, paired with a global operating discipline. Every well we take on ends in a constructive state: recompleted, repurposed or properly decommissioned.
Plugging and rework are just the beginning. As regulations and economics allow, NEOG will put the same wells to work in new ways: geothermal energy, CO2 sequestration, and produced water treatment for a range of markets.
The wells we bring onboard today become the foundation for tomorrow's energy and environmental solutions.
For wells that were abandoned rather than depleted, we apply modern completion techniques to restore low-cost production from proven reservoirs, returning idle wellbores to productive service.
For wells that have reached the end of their productive life, we seal producing zones, isolate aquifers with depth-controlled cement and casing, and eliminate methane leak pathways. Each plug is performed to generate carbon credits while protecting land and water for the long term.
Geothermal energy, CO2 sequestration and produced water treatment. As the platform grows, the wells we bring onboard today become the foundation for new energy and environmental solutions.

NEOG's mission is to reduce the burden of orphaned wells in Texas by giving every well we take on a responsible future: restoring production where it is viable, and plugging permanently, for carbon credits, where it is not.
